Every Brilliant Thing (Montana Tour) toured small rural towns and Native American Reservations in 2019, when Montana had the highest suicide rate in America. This powerful one-person comedy explores mental health, families and the ways we love in complicated and painful moments. Performances were held in high school gyms, church basements, community centers and private homes, sometimes playing to audiences as small as 10 people. Each performance was followed by a panel of local suicide prevention advocates, making space for thoughts and questions from the community, as well as sharing resources for suicide prevention.
